For this incredibly boring week end anything is good enough for a news. These 32 images of the certainly bad looking Red Ninja: End of Honor won't prove me wrong. Hopefully this is the PS2 version...

Yeah, seriously. I had always thought that one developed for the XBox in order to make great games, or at least ones that were cutting edge. You make games on the Playstation 2 to make money (don't believe and bs people give you about "reaching the widest audience" because unless those people haven't heard of Halo, Project Gotham Racing, Dead or Alive 3, Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell, etc., they're idiots). You make games on the Gamecube possibly to target a special audience, but XBox games are meant to be cutting edge, period. It is easy to program for, powerful, boasts hard drive caching capabilities, and a smooth online asset.
Games like Red Ninja: End of Honor really make me question why some people even try to develop games in the first place. I will be watching out for the game, however, why? Because the only way there is any sense for this game to come out on the XBox in the face of Ninja Gaiden, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, or even the Tenchu: Return from Darkness port, is for this game to have the most kick-ass gameplay ever.
If the game ends up sucking in that department as well...well, then, I'll keep in mind never to play another game by the same developer.
