Capcom also released these images of Resident Evil 5, planned to be released in March on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Two gameplay videos is also available, showing the two levels Refinery and Warehouse.
Theres not really much more you can say, looks stunning as usual. Co-op is fun, only thing im cautious of is if your co-op partner dies how far you go back, could get a bit frustrating.
Also not fussed on the amount of screen co-op uses, so much black unused space just to save on the aspect ratios.
still not sure,hammered 4 on GC and Wii and from what i've seen it looks a little over familiar for right now,and I hope it still looks good after playing KZ before it,because the screens and vids so far haven't left my jaw on the floor.

Better ground textures i've ever seen without really trying, other games as Killzone 2 ou Halo 3, have some blurish texture, and in some random part then, they do work them with reflections or wathever, for the photo.
The character models looks stunning. As usual Japanese devolopers are way better then western when it comes to characters (natural looking skin, hair, etc). And no jaggies either (like Marcus Fenix have :P)!

Idiot, this game is far more impressive looking, its just less flashy. KZ is made to make peoples eyes happy with pretty things, not make intelligent people drool because it actually IS technically impressive. KZ2 does an admirable job of pretending to be gorgeous, but all it has is the lighting really. This game is definitey up there with Gears 2 visually.
I am curious, those who have played the demo, is the AA really that high? o.o Thats about the only thing that really REALLY pops out about this game at this point, is the AA.

Well, when you stand right next to a guy with a chainsaw, and you have a shotgun thats not killing him, its bound to happen. Thats why you move! lol, its not like he can shoot at you or anything, move away and then shoot him.

Could be, but I doubt RE5 will be the better game in physics, AI, and actual gameplay over the latest game Marcus Fenix features in.. These are things Japanese developers have a lot to learn from Western developers nowadays..

Yep! There's the odd shimmer here and there but generally it seems to have very good AA. I think all Capcom games so far this gen have had good AA haven't they?

Yeah, Killzone 2 looks awesome. Much better than either Gears Of War 2 or Resident Evil 5 as you can clearly see in these screenshots:
those were really bad choices to show. the game has some nice motion blur and depth of field, but its sorely lacking in textures and variety. i like the clean look of the game, but then again, the gritty look of GoW2 is even more appealing, especially since there is variety and some nice texture work. this definitely doesn't look better than either GoW2 or RE5 though, sorry to say.
It looks great I just hope they clean up the screen tearing I have seen in some of the videos as it seems to get pretty bad and distracting at times...
Whoah...just watched the videos and my word the screen tearing is almost constant, like every time the camera pans. Now I am by no means a graphic whore but that is one thing I find that really snaps me out of the experience
I really hope that gets eliminated in the final version as it almost puts me off purchasing...
