Hmm... upon further inspection of the shots, it doesn't really look like Split Second. More like someone's attempt at Burnout, but with really glossy cars.
Wasn't this game from the makers of Flatout?
I was pretty addicted to Flatout 2.5 (the xbox360 version, don't recall the real name) so if this is anything like that; sign me up :)
This definitely has more in common with Burnout than Split Second, I think. Whatever the case may be, I hope this is the revitalization the RR franchise needs.

Epic Fail, this is not ridge racer, its Crapout 3 Burnedout Edition, what a way to ruin a classic franchise like Ridge Racer by putting in a crappy dev and making a DIFFERENT game.

That's what I was thinking. It wasn't Disney's fault Split Second didn't do well- that game was awesome. This... this looks like Burnout, not Split Second.
