GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

Sea of Solitude was released at the end of last week and the reviews have been pretty mixed so far to say the least. Because we didn't get to start playing the game before yesterday, it is obviously too soon to tell you what the game is truly worth, but the first two chapters we have played have given us a rather positive impression. We love the art style and the game's atmosphere, we find the character's animation very good overall, and despite some pretty basic gameplay mechanics, we enjoyed discovering Cornelia Geppert's title. It reminds me of Submerged and I might like the gameplay, but the german accent of the voice acting is irritating. I'm from Germany myself so maybe that's why, because to me it sounds like they didn't take care to talk proper english or hire "professional voice actors". But maybe it was a conscious decision and for other people's ears it sounds interesting instead of unprofessional? The characterization and emotion in the voice acting is actually good, but the accent... *shudder*
