While waiting all official information, here are some pictures of the Xbox One, Microsoft's new console. Enough to get an idea of the appearance of the machine, waiting to see what the imposing "black brick" has in the stomach.
It looks very PS3 ish but rectangly... seems to have a slot loader unlike previous X360 and seems like it might be built in HDD standard and bigger than probably the first X360 launch units... I guess we will find out soon...
As for Forza 5... dude get over it, its new hardware... it may not be what arm chair tech fans were expecting but it still IS and new hardware and much like PS4 had people crying CGi, the new Xbox is going to be doing much the same...
I am actually much more interested in what Halo next will look like... Forza as a racing game is just too predictable to estimate its upgrade looks.

Search through the images. the renders and dark environment of the show made it looks sleek as hell. Those imahes in daylight make it look a bit cheap. Ultimately though, the design is irrelivant since it gets thrown under your TV and is rarely ever seen.

I'm actually not completely digging how it looks just yet. It's kind of...bland to me.
And something about the controller looks less comfortable to me that the 360's...looks a little flatter and less rounded on the front. Could just be the pics though. I bet it's actually pretty comfy.

Ya - someone else who was at the reveal commented (twitted) on that ... the top part finish is nice and that's about it ... the rest .. not so much but yea most of the time the damn thing is will disappear under your table or cabinet anyways

yeah, i just don't see what crowd they are aiming for with this. Unless it's really cheap i seriously doubt it's gonna replace regular digital tv-boxes or smart-tv functions. And they totally creamed anyone who would consider themselves a gamer tonight with this god awful presentation. I just don't understand what they are thinking.

M$ promised games at E3. I think gamers should hold them to that. I just hope it doesn't mean a 80% third party line up, 10 % indie, 10% home base type of show ...
I'm starved for new stuff - fed up of old characters and rehashes but I get that that takes time to create, and develop ... anyways the man said E3 we should hold them to it - if they don't deliver then the rest is up to you.

Well said. The crying about this sort of thing online is bordering defcon 1 levels for retardness. God, the fanboy graphics gimps are going to be unbearable pretty soon. The internet might need nuked.
As for the console itself, i think it's a little like Marmite, no? I'm not sure if I like it or not. So long as it keeps cool, quiet and reliable.

Agree about the 80s VCR comments. I thought they would play it safe, but this has almost no eye catching design or points of interest. I figured they would get rid of the ring, but it looks like they replaced it with a cheap silver sticker.
Controller looks nice, but that was expected. Couple extra buttons likely copied from PS4, and slightly different grips. Actually looks a tad less comfortable than the 360 controller.
Overall, the console looks like a cheap, bare bones PC case you would buy on Newegg. Although, at least they were smart and made the whole damn thing a vent/fan. No more overheating issues for this badboy! Can't say I'm impressed, but I would like to hear more about the specs. As of now, if the PS4 has more horsepower, I think I am leaning that way......even without seeing it.
what's with this trend of redesigning the controller every generation? for the most part this new one is barely different from the 360s. the 360 controller was just fine as it was imo, hopefully we'll be able to use them on this. really wouldn't make sense not to make it backwards compatible. and i agree with michaelob, it looks less comfortable than the 360 controller.
