As its first Kinect title, SEGA has decided to recycle Sonic Riders in a revised version entitled Sonic Free Riders. Here are a trailer and a couple of images. The game is planned for a November 4th release.

Good idea though. Something my 6yr son would love but my 39yr knees will hate

If this was based on a new Coolboarders or a SSX game it would be pretty cool... but not in a mediocre sonic spin-off of last gen.

I do like how you can reach out and grab the rings. Its stuff like that that makes the kinect stand out for me...

They have a Quicklook of this up at Giantbomb.com - The Kinect support looks bit janky to be honest.

Looks pretty fun, IMO. I'm not sure if a big fat guy is the best way to show a game that requires so much activity, lol...
