The demo of Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing has been available on Xbox Live for two days and here come two videos showing the two playable characters and the one and only track you can race. Framerate aside, the game is shaping up nicely for all Sega fans, not to mention those who just can't get enough of Mario Kart. Let's just hope the final game will run much smoother as for now, it is really not up to today's standard in that area.
Update: The previous videos didn't have any sound. Here are some new ones.

What are the chances they will actually improve the framerate? I will still buy it either way though.

I have to say, the game isn't bad. Possibly the best MK clone in a long time, and the massive character and track list really seems interesting. Might pick this up if I get bored enough (too many games this quarter)

Couldn't they have used an updated engine from Sega Rally Revo? That would've handled this no problem! Looks nice though; long live Sega Blue Sky! :o)

a Sumo Digital employee was on the Eurogamer boards and apologized for the framerate in the demo. Although it's obviously not guaranteed just because he said so, he did insist that the demo was terribly unoptimised and that the final game will perform much better.

And yeah, liking this game a lot. I kinda.. was bound to.

Actually doesn't look too bad. PS3 and 360 needed their own Mario Kart.

Hmm this actually looks kinda interesting. I think there is even Jacky Bryant as playable character :O I hope they will release PC demo too.

PASS - shenmue 3 please sega I'm still waiting to see Ryo Hazuki Face Lan Di in the Ultimate showdown....sorry but everytime I see a sega game I just get filled with hatred it isn't shenmue and there's gonna be alot of hate >D

That wouldn't be fair to the rest of the racers.:p Besides, he does leave his car when he uses his all-star move.

Looks pretty cool actually. I was absolutely hooked on Mario Kart on SNES back in the day, and loved Mario Kart:DD on Gamecube as well.

This, at first glance, looks like an improved Mario Kart:DD, with some nice visuals to pair. Will try the demo...
