Developer Electro Phantom was founded back in 2012 and will be releasing Speed Elixir at the end of this year. It is quite an ambitious project as they intend to propose a big open world environment with a dynamic weather cycle, weather effects and the possibility to set the driving model to arcade or simulation. Seamless multiplayer will also be part of the package deal for those who prefer to drive with friends.

Environment looks like shit. I very much doubt that anything out of them will come out on December 16th. Unless it's the pre-alpha preview shown in the video.

Just to remind people and developers, Forza Horizon 3 (or something) will be coming out on PC as well, so everyone needs to really step up their game if they even want to think about competing with that.

Open world racing games all look very similar to each other, except for details.
I would have preferred something like DriveClub, but really i'm just hoping someone will make another PGR one way or another.

"pre-Alpha"i doubt they will release anything this winter..it looks like they just started with their game, not even close to a half finished game.

But if they pull it off, i'm quite interested in the "arcade to sim" settings.
I love real Sim Racers (rfactor etc) so if they can get arcade and sim under one roof that'll be impressive. Still big doubts tho

It's ambitious, alright.

One of the videos clearly labels the game as being pre-alpha, but for once they actually mean it vs other games just using that term to save face.
