If it ever became a 3rd person shooter like Space Marine/Gears of War, I would love that.
I never never liked RTS, never seriously played a single RTS before. But recently I decided to give it a try after watching some pro matches (which were very entertaining btw). I then bought the game.
Buying the game was one of the best decision I have ever made.

I played SC1 in the old days and Warcraft 3 and a bit of Halo Wars...yeah, very boring genre IMO, not my type.
Stunning CGI effects...as always. Blizzard is the only one who really can compete with the Final Fantasy CGI videos/cutscenes.
Warcraft (3) and Starcraft > best RTS games out there.

Halo Wars is just bad. Everything what's important for an RTS game is missing there. It's a shame that Halo Wars is a product from Ensemble Studios, the makers of the Age of Empires Series (great games but AoE2 is still the best out of the whole series). HW is just a huge dissapointment. Even the Command & Conquer 3 console versions are better stratgey titles.
