When Street Fighter V launches on February 16, the game will offer character stories which serve as a prologue to the story expansion that will come out as a free update in June 2016. The story will bridge th events that happen between Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter III. Get a look at it with the trailer and screens inside.

The even better thing is it seems to be free,i was worried when the word expansion showed up.Then again i wonder about the new added fighters though.

I know it's a stylistic choice, but I hate that Character Story art. It looks like rough, unfinished storyboard drawings. It's like they gave Bengus a week to do all the game's art. Not his best.

I know, right! The game is so popular but the game just does not appeal to me at all. Big muscular characters is a turn off too.

True. Still looks a hundred times better then the 3D model based crap he did for SFIV though. Here at least his great style shines through. What really hurts it imo isn't even the roughness but that they just used the standard backdrops with a cheap filter on them. Doesn't mix-up well with the art.

Oh don't get me wrong.. the important bits are all falling into place. Roster/modes/online should satisfy.

And I can't wait to play beta 4 this weekend.
