I hope this is DLC .Otherwise this is too soon and will already make a big gap between mainstream and hardcore SF fan's . Because i'm not going to buy this any time soon.On the other hand all sportgames have each new year a release with tons of extra's and better gameplay ,...etc .

I hate that I'm so excited for this. I hope its not full priced, and i wish it would be downloadable. As a starving college student, i can't see myself putting down $60 for four new modes and a few new characters.

It's not DLC and there's a lot of details out there about its content.. which is beefier than most full sequels in this genre.
I wish it were at least compatible with SF4 online... there should be a vanilla mode, so you can play w/ the rest of the SF4 community.
I really like the new soundtrack.
The additions to the online sound great... 4 vs 4 team matches, really looking forward to that. I hope I can join forces with my PSN friends so we can own all the poor sods. 1 vs 7 quarter match lobbies, thank god! I really hated SFIV for not having something like that.
And finally a good replay channel, hopefully players can rate each others replays. The replay feature in SFIV wasn't bad, but only being able to save replays of championship finals made it somehow unappealing.
The bonus stages look fun. The car destruction stage needs a guy from some other fighting game who screams "NOOO, MY CAR" after you turned it into a wreck. ^_^
Now, all that's left to unveil are the balance tweaks and the remaining new characters. Can't wait for that. Hopefully the rumors about Gouken's daughter are true, I so want a female Shoryuken character.

C'mon on now really!? Games like PES and Fifa have only recently changed. Of all genres, sports games have proven to cash in annually just doing minor tweaks.
SSFIV will not be full priced, not available as DLC, includes 10 confirmed new characters, new stages, new bonus levels, new music, new gameplay.
Capcom needs to show off this new gameplay footage, otherwise I will not be buying if it still plays exactly the same as the original dispite all the new content.

There are new characters and moves, but the new system has only had its name released: Multiple Saving. It's logical to assume it will be some kind of easy to use parry system with focus attacks, which fits in nicely with the whole ‘contrived comeback’ theme of SF4.
