Dark Souls: Remastered took its time to land on Nintendo Switch but the wait is now over. Without further ado, you can watch these few minutes of gameplay captured in docked mode obviously.
The Switch version looks very good. Much better than the X360 and PS3 versions. I would even say it looks better than the old "Prepare to Die" edition on PC without the DSFix by Durante.
The image looks very sharp, I believe resolution is at 1080p, though will have to wait for Digital Foundry's verdict. Still, the game looks much better than I thought it would.
Just interested to know how stable the performance is, specially in a place like Blighttown. Dark Souls doesn't require 60fps, as long as the framerate is rock solid. Other than that, this looks incredibly good, even more so keeping in mind the limited hardware specs of the Switch.
PS. It still blows my mind how great this game looks. At times it feels like I'm watching the Remastered PC version. Is this the best looking game on Switch?

And there is obvious slowdown on undead burg. framerate or shit framepacing. Still, PTDE is still WAYS better than Demaster edition, just for that.

plese gayders, get that high quality Diablo IV real-time cutscene. And DiabloII to check the insane isometric tapestry filled w/ granular detail, if you may. (1 Week ago)

disregards the chock points of "skmirches", the traversel is pretty smooth. Higly recommended and a classic dying breed formula of pc action shooter. (2 Weeks ago)

i'm enjoying Control immensely and for a late last-gen game, going by the Disgusting on-basis unacceptable performance of games/worlds, the base console performance is pretty much decent, if one (2 Weeks ago)
