Rockstar just released these 6 new videos of Table Tennis, each showing one type of shot for this quite interesting looking game. Update : Added the missing "Smash" video.
Slabs I laughed when I first saw it, and I still am. It seems the gaming industry can make any game now, as long as they build it up with enuff press.
Just my opinion tho.
they can make any game as long as they make it fun. Some modern games just arnt fun they look good, but they are crap. Its like every psp game I ever owned all rubbish, got my ds and thier all fun. 360 has had some great fun titles and I have no doubt that this will be fun.

Despite or even because of its simplicity and therefore accessiblity "Table Tennis" is likely going to be one of the most innovative and outstanding games out this year.
It is something that hasn´t been done since "Ping Pong" which was BTW THE FIRST videogame ever.
What you are saying much rather applies to the 100th WWII shooter.

this video doesn't show any actual gameplay angles at all. i don't see how you all can get excited over it.

I have played it for some hours and it's great fun. Everyone moaning is missing the point, it's cheap, it looks totally next gen and it has the same kind of addictive gameplay as something like Geometry Wars. Perfect game for a few mates and some beers!

there is actually a gamer who wants to play games instead of pissing and moaning,i haven't played this game but as u said it does look like a friends + beers type of game
i can only blame almost absent facial expressions that make the players look current genish somewhat....but theyr built with just 2-3 times the triangles found in doau chars....for the rest it looks quite good....they could use more triangles per char looking at what pgr3 can do with 8 car on screen at once, though...

If you see it in motion, on a hi-def set, you won't have a single complaint to make about the characters. Somehow video's never capture the quality of the graphics and animations. They make great facial expressions in the game, the cloth dynamics are fantastic, skin textures and sweat are a level above anything else I seen thus far, including fight night. Trust me, this game looks great!
rustykaks, thanks, I don't think you would regret a purchase, the three friends I saw it with all agreed it's a must have purchase, the game to break out when we are all together.
