Xbox 360 PS3

Bethesda released this teaser trailer for Fallout 3 yesterday, showing the first footage from the game. The magazine Game Informer now says that the game also is being developed for X360 and PS3 (plus PC of course), so we'll put up the trailer here aswell - for those few who have yet to see it.

If its 3rd-person (good 3rd-person not Morrowind/Oblivion), and turn based I'll be happy. Even if its not turn based chances are I'll still buy it.

Well, I like it too. As long as they get the story, environment, skills, freedom, violence, humor and easter eggs down I don't care if I have to play it with a Nintendo Powerglove.

Well to me, it feel exactly the same like the first time i booted up Fallout : Brotherhood of Steel with its intro. (when the music slowly fade away and you see the road sign "welcome to Chicago".)

looks nice, I really really hope bestheda put in a decent third person view point with this one.... I mean I have little problem with most games implementation but it just felt ackward in Oblivion. Didn't believe it until I played it

Looks very good but confused the hell out of me, thought there was a little Darma Initiative going on there, then thought it was Resident Evil with the errie textures and music was setting me up for a fright, then I thought it was Half-Life 2 with that huge skyscrapper thingy, then I thought it was KillZone2 with the soldier lol.

So... You'd be fine if the game was a scifi-version of Oblivion if they just made a proper 3rd person camera? *puke*

The only thing in common with Elder Scrolls & Fallout is that they are both open-ended games. That's where the similarities end and SHOULD end. If Bethesda just makes this a skin change (colourful fantasy land changed into a post-apocalyptic world), then I know I won't be spending my money on this, no matter how "rave" the reviews will be (got bored with Oblivion quite fast, don't want Fallout to change into the same kind of bore-fest).

Not in-game, in engine. Meaning that no background calculations are going on.

Not sure if you meant it that way, but most would label that as a negative thing.

Nice.

I was trying really hard to figure out what was going on through the first half, then the camera pulled back out of the train and it all became clear. This'll be interesting.

I love this site because they DO put up .mp4 versions of most released trailers, but unfortunately I don't think all of the staff is on the same page with it because it's hit or miss if we get one.
