Tecmo has released a new trailer of Ninja Gaiden 3 as well as some (low quality) screens. Both depicting the Consequence system, For every action, consequence.. Update: New screens added.

Nothing wrong with sounding like inception. I love that sound. And the story looks surprisingly dark.
I know that sound is famous but I still cant find the original.
About the story, I am glad Hayashi is doing this, it has a good story (based on this trailer).
I wont lie, I dont like to see ryu hurt or anything, but from this trailer I find it more badass that he is getting hurt a bit, just makes us realize he is still human, he is cursed and he is more pissed off.
Now if they implement that mindset to the combat when Ryu is more leveled up fromt he gameplay already released I do believe they got something going on there.
I do think Ryu will transform into some sort of a half-fiend, kind of Dante/Nero in DMC.
All moves being enhanced, speed up, more powerful, but limited.
Anyways, I love the trailer and the music.
Speaking of music, each NG title has brought amazing tracks, I am sure NG3 will be no different, definitely hyped to hear some more tracks.

Ninja Gaiden meets Prototype?
There are alot of Japanese anime stories that deal with cursed "mystical" arms, hands, etc Mystical, magical, supernatural... etc so this take on the story is kind of nice to bring something new within the Ninja Gaiden universe and mystical history of old stories and anime/manga.
Ever watch Ninja Scroll? hopefully you are old enough to watch it and not squeamish.

NG2 had finishing moves as well, the game had QTE as well, but the thing with NG2 was they HID the icon above the enemies when they were decapitated so all you had to do was to press Y to finish them off.
Its the same thing here in NG3, but at first they will show you that each SoB depending on attacks is different so you cant press the same button. And the "finishing move" is still there anyways. Then they will remove the QTE on screen so it feels natural just like NG2.
