i still dont understand why they thought changing the series to a modern setting would be a good idea. i mean if they wanted to create a shooter that sounded original they should of changed the title to something that didn't relate to the games set in western times. instead they stuck with call of juarez and made themselves look like they had no idea what else to do with the wild west.

If this game wasn't in the Call Of Juarez series or including the characters at all, i think i would give it a try. As it looks now, it's just incredibly stupid IMO.
Maybe i'll give it a try co-op with a mate.

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot Right. I think programmable shaders were adopted fairly early on consoles (xbox360/ps3) (1 Day ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite @toelessfoot: Well, only recently they have been. I think this is the first gen I've seen where PC's are playing catch up. Not through hardware power, but through development cycles (1 Day ago)

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot Yeah I think innovations on the console side are taken up more quickly by PC than vice versa because consoles are really lead platform for everything (1 Day ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite At least for most gamers. Similar to when everything went to pci-e (2 Days ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite I think we could be seeing a dramatic shift in PC hardware where it'll be essential to own both an SSD and a next gen card with the api's to use them. That also would probably require new motherboards (2 Days ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite If a game is built from the ground up to take advantage of that, though... (2 Days ago)
