We saw a gameplay video showing Dying Light in the daytime now Warner Bros. and Techland show us the other side of the title's day/night cycle mechanic. The 10 minutes video also shows some strategies the player can use to survive as the infected are much more threatful at night. The open-world survival-horror parkour game is scheduled to release in 2014 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Enjoy the 1080p/60fps video and some new screens.

Makes sense. Most people who do parkour over here in the US end up in the hospital. I imagine in a zombie apocalypse hospitals would be a bad idea.

thanks for this, seen someone playing this demo footage before, this is my most wanted game for next year... love techlands zombie games and if this is moddable like the others it will be epic, cannot wait for slow zombies that can lose limbs and can only be killed with head shots :)))))

Looking really good. Love the free running and the combat. Everything just looks to have a real visceral and tactile feel despite being quite arcadey. The vegetation looks great as well.

The only thing that kind of concerns me after watching that is how easy it looked. The fact that you can pretty much head jump a group of 10 zombies and then just throw a flare or set of traps every 10 seconds seems to remove a lot of the threat, and therefore the tension. The best zombie games need to make you at least somewhat vulnerable, but this guy moves like a superhero. Did he even take damage during that whole video?

Let's hope this was just easy mode, and on hard you will have a lot fewer resources or something.

How does that make sense? So the original file was 4.00 GB and you re-encoded / re-compressed it down to 2.29 GB?

That certainly didn't do anything good to the quality...

Therefore i would have preferred if you would not have done that and would have given us the original 4.00 GB file instead... (remuxed from .MOV to .MP4 if necessary)
