The first in-game direct feed trailer (seen during Sony press conference last week) of Tango Gameworks' survival horror is here before the TGS opens its door. The Evil Within is slated to release in 2014.

I'm sooo gonna watcg this trailer! I don't have the will power to resist! I have a feeling "The Evil Within" will be what the last couple of Silent Hill games (after Silent Hill 4), should have been!

Looks promising. Been a while since I played a true horror game. I love dead space and last of us etc but those are far from true horror imo.

Holy hell, that looks great! Hopefully this will learn from games like Outlast that by making you vulnerable and making running/hiding an option, they can really ratchet up the fear factor. As much as I am enjoying Outlast though, sometimes I wish there were some combat to break up the constant tension/running for your life.

I really hope they're taking some inspiration from Outlast which is a superb horror game!
SOME combat is okay to have a change from hiding & running, but it should be as nerve-racking & unforgiving!
