Take Flight with The Falconeer, Coming to PC in 2020

Wired Productions Team Up with Independent Developer Tomas Sala to Bring the Airborne Ocean-World Fantasy Aerial Combat RPG to Life and to Gamescom

Watford, UK - August 14, 2019 –– Award-winning publisher, Wired Productions and accomplished independent developer Tomas Sala, are delighted to announce The Falconeer – an ocean-world fantasy aerial combat RPG. Combining classic dog fighting mechanics and acrobatic twists and turns with an awe-inspiring open environment and bestiary of fantastic enemies in land, sea, and air, The Falconeer is set to take flight in 2020.

Set above The Great Ursee, prospective players can take their armed aerial mounts in third person to the skies as a Falconeer, an airborne warrior equipped with devastating ranged weaponry, to explore a bleak and hauntingly beautiful world, filled with wonderous locations and warmongering rival factions vying for the mysterious secrets hidden at the Ursee's unfathomable depths.

“The moment we saw The Falconeer, Tomas’ passion and dedication stood out and we knew we wanted to bring it to the Wired family,” said Leo Zullo, Managing Director, Wired Productions. “The Falconeer’s stunning art style and ambitious design speak volumes about his individual talent as a developer and we’re delighted to be supporting The Falconeer to market.”

"Building worlds is my passion, creating epic landscapes and hidden stories within… just waiting to be found. I want future Falconeers to fight for the Ursee world I’m creating, to risk everything in breathtaking battles to understand its secrets,” said Tomas Sala, the sole developer of The Falconeer. “I’m delighted to have joined forces with Wired Productions, to have secured the future survival of the Ursee and to join a line-up of stunning games with a publisher who understands my vision.”

This new partnership reflects Wired’s commitment to support creative ideas from truly talented and innovative developers, to help bring their game to market.

Media and influencers will be able to go hands on with The Falconeer at Gamescom, by appointment, at the Wired Productions booth, c-050, in Business Hall 2.2, alongside the portfolio of other Wired Production titles on showcase.

Sdarts We need more info and people's playing with the DualSense to say what the experiences was like to know if that's what it does. I love rumble, so this could be great. (39 minutes ago)

  • Sdarts

Sdarts This could be really great, as if you're playing a F1 racing game, you would feel the smooth circuit. While when playing a Rally racing game, you would feel the bumps in the road. (41 minutes ago)

  • Sdarts

Sdarts I believe it's something similar, but more advanced. If it's what I'm imagining, it will be great and will make you "feel" the difference between shooting a bow and a gun. Hence the name "DualSense". (43 minutes ago)

  • Sdarts

Sdarts you go into controlled breath mode, where it zooms in and you can more accurately take a shot. Same for Racing games where the harder you press R2/RT, the faster the car goes. (46 minutes ago)

  • Sdarts

Sdarts @AndreasZ94: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint has a mechanic where if you press slightly - till halfway - the L2 or LT (Left Trigger) button, or are pressing L2/LT and slightly releases pressure from it, (48 minutes ago)

Seth as someone who play lots of 2d games, it's the only thing that didn't lasted as long as i hoped with my two ds4 controllers. (1 Hour ago)

  • Seth

Seth well i'm glad Sony is going with larger controller than ds4 this time. I only hope the d-pad is more reliable. (1 Hour ago)
