Not only did Neil Druckmann announced that Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson will appear in the upcoming The Last of Us TV series and will have real roles, he also did confirm the afternoon leak and the many rumors concerning The Last of Us Part I. He also said it was a true remake which was developed from the ground up.

its unnecessary but people will buy it. i'm in that camp that still hasnt played the game but kinda want to play it, so this re-remaster is great for me

Why? They're still working on Factions and a new game. They did the remake because the team at Naughty Dog is big enough work on multiple projects steadily.

This is ridiculous. If they anounced the factions shit (which was supposed to come out cross-gen at least, and now i have my doubts), and it were included w/ this, that was something to justify the price, tag, now this?
Typical Sony past ps3, nickel and dime till the last drop.

Yeah hqgaming is right. As Jason Schreier said: "Something For People To Do While Other Things Are In Pre-Production".

This is so silly. Sony leaked the game by themselves...

Now the only thing we need is the download of the trailer here at Gamersyde but as it seem that won't happen...

I've been wanting to play part 1 again for a long time. And I have absolutely nothing against remasters.With Demons Souls and RE there are good examples that the games are not just loveless cash cows.
