Too hell with cinematics, the gameplay (out of character playing scenes) barely seem an upgrade over the ps4 60 fps version? Why pay top dollar for this? Unwanted, just fix your misguided franchise direction with LoU2.

I agree. Why not spend all that time and resources on a new game. How many times are they going to redo this game? At the end of the day, its still the same game they already remastered. Clearly 2 was not as good as 1 and I guess they want to go back to the glory days but this seems like another money grab to me.

Every time I see you here in the Forums you are quite negative without much respect for the hard work of others. Is everything OK in your life? Do you need a girl friend for some "love"? Even your avatar icon reflects your mood. I don't understand how people can say they there is no audio visual upgrade in gamplay scenes. This is totally sh**. There is so much more geometry like for vegetation or in faces. You seem to have a problem with your ego. Others cannot be right only you but that's far from being ethically advanced.

There is another unanounced big game in preproduction in parallel. And this is not the The Last of Us online multiplayer game. As far as I understand when there is a game in preproduction then not the whole team has work. Therefore the idea of a remaster is not that bad so the whole team is at work. Maybe the unanounced game is TLOU3? In any case they were not only working on this remaster or the online multiplayer since the release of TLOU2. It's like with CPU cores. One core is not fully utilzed if there is only one hardware thread, there have to be two per core ;)

But I understand your opinion of a remaster of a remaster...

I hear you about part of the team needing work but as I've stated before there are better choices than remastering a remaster. Make an idie game or better yet add new content to TLOU2. They claim this remaster will look better than TLOU2. Why not remaster that game instead....Oh, yeah it wasn't as good. Make that game better then and please move on from the first game.

TLOU2 is a very good game but kids don't like it because it is Feuilleton and has so much drama. In this latest trailer they also explain why they made this remake.

The only positive I have about this release was its announcement and then imminent release in less than 60 days. MORE game announcements and quick releases like that please lol. But as everyone else has said, the price is a complete joke and Jim and PlayStation need to wake up already.

You have to wonder what the version was like that Sony Bend was forced to waste their time on, when the head of the studio left then. If this is the best that Naughty Dog can do for a supposed PS5 only game (seriously, TLOU Part II looks better, a last gen PS4 game), then we are in trouble although it coming to PC is the only other reason I can think its being compromised visually.
Its so they can make it run on those 4 to 6 year old rigs that 90% of the PC market game on.

Yeah, I'm with you but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It doesn't bother me since I am secure in knowing that not everyone has the same opinion as me and that's 100% fine. But clearly for some folks it bothers them that if you think this game is pointless, or a money grab and the resources could be best used elsewhere, somehow its negative, fighting and an argument. Such nonsense. No one is fighting or arguing. Its an opinion people...grow up....oh, that's right, social media.
