Focus Home Interactive has released a long gameplay walkthrough of GreedFall, the RPG from Spiders releasing September 10. The video explores the land of Teer Fradee where the player will have to find a cure to a disease that threatens the territory but also the wilderness and its strange and dangerous creatures for which the player has various skills and firearms to help deal with them.

I'm very cautious about this game. I kinda enjoyed Technomancer despite the jankiness of it all. One thing Spiders always does well is the world-building and it shows here too. Hopefully the combat is fun.

I've always found Spiders games to be overly ambitious for what they're capable of achieving as developers. And pairing some of it back would have ultimately resulted in a better game. They're so close to being great eurojank Devs like Piranha Bytes who make the Risen games and Elex. Those guys manage to blend the ambitious with some actual proficiency but they still have some weirdly charming jankiness. Spiders games however are janky in a bad way. They often just don't feel good to play. Hopefully this is the game that turns things around for them. It already LOOKS a lot better.

I've enjoyed all of Spiders games, as said in previous comments, their characters and world building are very good and usually coupled with a fun combat system (i play on hard). The setting in GreedFall looks great as did that quest, looking forward to it.
