Daedalic announced earlier today that Caligari's debut title The Great Perhaps will launch on PC August 8. The time travel puzzle adventure game. Set in a scifi universe, the story follows a cosmonaut who returns to Earth and explores past and present with his mysterious lantern to try to prevent what happened to the planet. Get a new glimpse with the teaser and screens inside.

Damn, just by looking at the banner image, I thought: "Is that a new Daedalic game!?" and yes, it is. Love their games so much. The Deponia quadrulogy is epic. This seems to have a similar art style to those games, but different enough. Added to my wishlist. Thanks a lot for posting this.

  • MrWhite

MrWhite @toelessfoot: Was going to say. Those aren't official ports. Someone like Carmack could get it running in its full glory with proper VR implementation, i.e hand interaction etc (17 minutes ago)

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot Maybe realtime stencil shadows will be doable on Quest 2. These are the DrBeef ports btw (3 Hours ago)

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot @MrWhite: Doom on Quest is astonishingly good already and Doom 3 is on its way (without the realtime shadows unfortunately) (3 Hours ago)

  • b0vril

b0vril probably not (5 Hours ago)

  • nostradamus

nostradamus @b0vril: no Fallout/Elder Scrolls on Playstation, I guess. (5 Hours ago)

  • b0vril

b0vril @MrWhite: Thus far MS says multiplat stuff will be on a "case by case" basis. (5 Hours ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite I can see him work on proper VR ports of things like Doom or Doom 3. Maybe a VR remake of that. (6 Hours ago)
