Cool trailer.. And for the unfortunate that only play games on a Playstation, so didn't play this last year already, this is a very welcome addition to their gameslibary.. Especially the (creepy) atmosphere in this game is very special and will grab you..

Good news for those that are waiting for the PS3 port: 2K IS patching that godawful pixelated/PSone era textured Big Daddy. The only way I'll double dip is if the DLC is free and this is in the bargain bin (already have the PC version).

I ran some comparisons between both PS3 and 360 demos, and it looks like the main (graphical) difference is that the PS3 version is blurrier and there's no framerate unlock option. I don't mind the former so much but I'm not buying this version if they don't include 60fps in the full game.

Lol. Since when has a console version of a UE3 game run at 60 fps? Bioshock, UT3, GeoW, and Mass Effect have all run at 30 fps on consoles. Framerate unlock is another way of saying V-Sync.

Well this UPDATE or PATCH will probably happen via PSN because I got the final preview copy last night and it is still plagued with framerate issues and blurry textures.

I haven't check out the Big Daddy for pixelation yet but I doubt that has been remedied! I hope so!!!

Well a patch is coming to fix textures and the QORE video shows the unlock option in the final game. Mixed with extra content it is well worth a purchase at some point.

The blur was a choice, and in game it helps overall. I have heard a lot of people say it makes the textures look less "plastic" or "greasy" than the 360 version. Its not the best solution but it does help in my opinion.

As for the 60fps comment, it won't happen. The 360 version was nowhere near 60 and I don't see that changing.

EDIT: The frame rate issues are an exaggeration and were mentioned in the 360 version.

To be very honest.. I don't mind the blurriness... but when there's heat around the corner the framerate takes quite a dip. There are other moments where the framerate will chug along for no apparent reason other than the game feeling unoptimized!

Shame though... cause from what I can recollect the 360 version ran very, very smooth.

You guys are sad bitching about a little blurriness and framerate issues. If you can't overlook a couple little flaws to play an outstanding game like this, you're missing out. Bottom line is- if you didn't get to play this on 360 or PC, buy this game! You won't regret it.

I'm not buying this since i already own the 360 version and a little DLC isn't gonna make me buy a game twice. Having said that though i did try the PS3 demo out of curiosity and anybody claiming it has framerate issues that aren't present in the 360 version are lying.

The game was so impressive technical. The graphics were really very very impressive and that "Frame rate unlock" feature was a great addition more FPS games should have.

Overall 10/10!

Yeah the framerate unlock thing was good though it made the slowdowns seems ALOT slower since it would run so much higher otherwise.

This game was amazing and is amazing, buy this if you havn't played it.
