Just a few days after the Gamers Day trailer, Sony Japan and Game Republic released this new trailer showing much more of the game and the cutscenes, and in 720p resolution too. And since it's just beautiful, it's definitely worth its own news.
I hope they are already working on all the translations....they are already speaking English.....off course that doesn't have to mean they are already doing it.
So this is basically Silent Hill in the form of RPG. I would have liked the trailer if it had some cool music tho...japanese rock just doesnt do it for me.
I'm not really a big j-rock fan myself ,but I thought the song really fitted the video - as for the game : I'm was already sold on this when the very first video of it was shown and this superb trailer surely doesn't change that ;) .
Hey I recognize the voice of that singer, it's probably the guy from T.M. Revolution. He sounds and sings exactly the same way. He's got some awesome songs. ~Der Freischutz~ is a cool one. Jpop/rock/whatever is totally my thing :P. Probably because I'm born in Japan ^^"
My god, another Japanese masterpiece. You absorb monsters when they die, then when you attack, you see their spirits fade in with an awesome effect.

Actually the way the spirits launch out it reminds me more of the shadows in blue dragon.

A Silent Hill comparison now? This is getting out of hand!
Well c'mon, A girl goes to a mysterious ghost town, searching for her mother. She enters into a different "realm" and fights wierd creatures. And that dude in this game that answers the phone looks just like the guy Vincent from Silent Hill that you meet, and helps you....check it out:

The story seems good so good they could make it into a mature short anime series. Also love the music, it's top notch.
Kind of reminds me of the first Silent Hill (just a tad bit).

Will Blim call up the devs and ask em what game resembles Folklores gameplay the best?
I'm sticking to Pokemon! :D
