NetherRealm Studios is bringing DC Comics' superheroes and villains into a fight with Injustice: Gods Among Us. Warner Bors. will release the game for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii-U. Trailer and screenshots inside.
Outside of Spider-Man, and recently Batman, super hero games never even ATTEMPT to utilize the characters correctly. We just get dungeon crawlers, lame movie tie-ins, and this.
Will this have fatalities? I dont know if i could happily accept a game made by the creators of MK not to have some sort of brutal finishers. MK Vs DC wasnt very good tho...so who knows. Interested to see more.
Yeah, gonna be fun to see if the shite systems of MK hold up when there's no nostalgia, 20 galons of blood per punch, xray moves or finishers. I was going to make a comment about how it looks bloody awful, then i realized it was Boon & co making it, that kinda took the endge off :P

I hope this game doesn't turn out bad - and I hope this game is still on early development which gives them plenty of time to make the stages look interesting --

Not sure if serious. Oh wait, you were the dude who thought that "Extra" mode in Soul Calibur was a fun addition to the franchise, right? Nvm..
Soul calibur and tekken havnt been good since the second and third respectively...so yeah, you're damn right i'm serious. But mainly i said it cos i know megido has a boner for tekken...which he flops around in every fighting game thread ;P
More like you're clueless about what is good and bad in the fighting game genre. SCV is a great game. Thank god the comp circuit picked up on that even though the mass market didn't.

Yeah, korn is beyond clueless when it comes to fighters, that much is clear. Also i think ttt2 looks pretty good actually. T5 also looked amazing for the ps2, its just t6 that looks average. Still plays better than anything Boon ever made, though. And even if mk9/this has a decent engine, the design is just horrible.
Being a fan of most all fighting games , I have no idea why people rag on MK. MK9 was great, so what it didn't play like SF, VF, or Tekken. It is not suppose to it is MK.
To Megido, you rag on this game and MK9 but accept the stiff robot motion capturing in every Tekken game?
My big gripes with MK9 would be the utterly borked risk/reward ratios, the comlete lack of gague management and the just overall overly simple nature of the game. Learn your special moves, learn your string with the fastest initiate, spam appropriately, win. That's MK9, at tournament level. Watching tournament matches/finals is a complete joke, all dude-bro guys playing, the commentator was gushing on about the gore more than the gameplay and Noob spamming projectils across the stage was considered fancy playing. It was SO bad. Or like the EVO 2011 finals. Kung lao is just constantly spamming a safe projectile, then going for a combo that is NC, if it doesn't go in he just spams out a safe hat toss at the end and comes away clean. SO BROKEN.
And i'm sorry but since when was tekken poorly animated? Especially as compared to MK? Get real. You cna nitpick about how it has silly explosion effects, how blocking sounds like slamming a locker doror or T6 looking kinda meh, but are you really trying to bitch about the animations? It's one of the places where Tekken really shines!
