Microsoft didn't just come to E3 with games, but also presented the new dashboard for the Xbox One. Let's hope this one will actually make a bit more sense than the current one. Trailer inside.
IMHO, todays developers fail a little with these GUIs of PS4 and XB. Looks really messy to me. I must say that PS3 had it nicely done, but PS4 is a mess. Not really important thing, people can navigate in any GUI after some time, but.....You know....all these overlaying things and tabs and shits....not intuitive to work with. But maybe I'm just nitpicking....
The ps3 xmb was slow, took forever to show up when playing a game, when notification popped up it didn't even go to it when you pressed the ps button and you'd have to leave the game to change most of the options at the xmb menu. Its latest update made everything far worse (especially the ps store).
The X1/ps4 ui is far better and faster (with this w10 ui update on x1, i've heard nothing but good things from those who've seen it 1st hand at e3).

Disagree, the Vita interface is great. The basic concept of icons and folders is the best one. Vita, the 3DS and the Wii U are doing it right. New gen interfaces want to be innovative and they end being totally cumbersome.
Mmm... Cortana. I'd tap that. I would like to see the PS4 UI improved too. It works, and it's certainly better than it used to be, but it could still be so much better.
I agree with Zat, the PS3 had a really nice UI going. Not as pretty, but very efficient. It was easy to find everything quickly. It got to the point where I could navigate the menus without looking. PS4 menu, not so much.
