Eidos released a new trailer of Tomb Raider: Underworld showing a new a quite interesting level. Sorry about the rather bad quality of the video, it looks like someone at Eidos had missed his daily coffee/drug/whatever when encoding this thing.

i don't see this game doing very well in terms of sales at all this holiday season. too many great games to compete with.
You couldnt be more wrong. Tomb Raider Legend sold 3 million copies in 2 months worldwide across all platforms. I am sure that number is much higher than that now. I am not sure how Anniversary performed but I am pretty sure Underworld will sell like hot cakes.
Anyway, nice video although I prefer actual TOMB RAIDING than going into a ship and slaughtering people but I do realise that setting levels like these in the game is quite necessary.
i was quite disappointed with the ps3 and 360 versions because of sub 720p resolutions. it really hurts the console version visuals.
however... i just got through playing the PC demo. for me, the difference is night and day. the PC version is so incredibly sharp, and looks really impressive. it plays well, looks stunning, and the scope is vast. i can't wait to get the PC version.
everyone keeps comparing this game to uncharted. i don't know about the console versions, but the PC version of TRU without a doubt looks better than uncharted.
yet again, a game that doesn't truly express its visual prowess until you see it on the PC. it belongs there. so, lucas.. when is the force unleashed going to be able to express itself in its true form? it will happen, and i'll be waiting.
definitely a "must buy"! but i agree with alimokrane that ACTUAL TOMB RAIDING is what made the tr series what it is. the less "slaughter levels" the better.
it´s not a shooter! the same thing bothers me with prince of persia. i find all the fighting annoying and distracting from the core gameplay-> TOMB RAIDING hehe:)
maybe im in the minority with this, but i find the puzzle solving, path finding, acrobatics are the STRONG points of these games. since tr1 i always hated being "interrupted" by the stupid fights in between, same with prince of persia.
it`s like: "i wonder what`s behind the next corner, but i have to put up with some jerk standing in my way, sigh"

just my .02 ^_^
I absolutely agree. If they would take out the combat completely, It would be best. In prince of persia however, I do love the combat. It just fits with the whole fantay setting and all.
well i think the first game did it the best. i don't mind having to combat animals and beasts, but i really wish they would take the human combat out of the game completely. who can forget how nervous those lions and gorillas made you in the original, and the Trex was definitely a surprising highlight for sure. those occasional breaks in the tomb raiding and puzzle solving were perfect. but the human combat was just not in the least bit fun or menacing, and never has been.
