Ubisoft calls it "the next Far Cry".
For those that haven't finished Farc Cry 5's main campaign, I will try my best to not spoil anything, even though the story was absolutely shit and the ending was even worse - one of the worst endings in video games history.
This most likely is just a spin-off set in the same Far Cry 5 universe, though it might also be Far Cry 6, because the teaser alludes to both options. But I still believe it's the former because the flowers blooming may allude to a sort of "post post-apocalyptic" setting.
Either way, even if this isn't Far Cry 6, you can be sure FC6 is already in development after Far Cry 5 was the best selling game of 2018 for most of the year - extremely undeserving, I might add.
I'm not even sure if any other game had the time to dethrone it yet, but maybe Fifa 2019, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 or Red Dead Redemption 2 did it. At this point I just hope the next games in the franchise are much better than FC5.
If they're not going to improve upon the AI, variety of missions and writing, FarCry is pretty much dead to me. The game had peaked with 3, 4 was interesting due to the setting[it was even better cuz I'm Nepalese though little of actual Nepalese could be heard, and even that was laughably terrible!] and increased verticality but 5 just decided to do nothing and make a giant ass map with planes but no gameplay loops that benefited from them, much like Just Cause. Hopefully, they'll try something new like AC Origins and Odyssey since I enjoy them quite a lot.
Oh, there was also the voice-less protagonist. Yeah, don't want that either.

Was any other game released in the time frame of FC5's release? a good one I mean. can't remember.
Funny thing is, the only reason I played FC5 was because I haven't played any FC since FC3 (which I really liked). FC3 had a good villain and the gameplay was kinda new. nothing 'really' changed since that
