Here is the second video from the DONTNod Presents Vampyr series. Entitled Architects of the Obscure, the video reveals new gameplay sequences and deals with the visuals and music composed by Olivier Derivière that brought 1918 London to life.
I loved Olivier Derivière's scores for Alone in the Dark 2008 (the only redeeming aspect of that game) and Remember Me, good to have him onboard, but am still cautious about hyping this game too much. Heavens know we need more good vampire games.

We need more vampire games , period. Vampire the masquerade games need to come back, they'd sell well nowadays when Rpgs are far more popular. i think.
I know i don't want an MMO...
I'm still cautious about Vampyr because too much story could hide some barebones gameplay.
I'll listen to some of Derivière's work. Music is such an important part of immersion in games(movies and tv shows are the same).

This could be another Remember Me situation but i hope not. I want the studio to succeed with something more ambitious, also.because the premise for this game is awesome. Personally im expecting a rough around the edges kind of game ( subpar facial expressions, animations etc) but hopefully the rest is great. Combat wise im not expecting much either but as long as its decent and the narrative is good im fine

it's the ambition that's kicking this game in the nuts imo. they're suffering Spiders/Piranha Bytes syndrome, where they clearly have a specific size of team with a certain level of talent and a specific budget and yet they seem to be aiming to compete with the AAA market and failing. know your limits and work to your strengths. don't just shoot for the stars and hope for the best, the results usually end up being a janky, boring, generic mess (see elex/bound by flame/technomancer/remember me)

plese gayders, get that high quality Diablo IV real-time cutscene. And DiabloII to check the insane isometric tapestry filled w/ granular detail, if you may. (2 Weeks ago)

disregards the chock points of "skmirches", the traversel is pretty smooth. Higly recommended and a classic dying breed formula of pc action shooter. (3 Weeks ago)

i'm enjoying Control immensely and for a late last-gen game, going by the Disgusting on-basis unacceptable performance of games/worlds, the base console performance is pretty much decent, if one (3 Weeks ago)
