I think this game looks crappy, the textures don’t seem to really meld together (in image 4 it looks like her wrist is trying to run away from her arm), looks kinda “choppy” and looks like they tried to blur the outer edges of the char. models to get rid of some jaggies...but maybe its just because its in 1080p so its more unforgiving, it might look better in 720p. Or maybe i'm just a crack head ?¿!?
1080p? yes. glory? almost every other game shown at tgs until now impressed me more.
what sense does 1080p make if the textures they use for the grass have a resolution of 512x512 or something? now one can say that's because of the early development stage i don't see any reason why to work with such low res textures to begin with. also some bump mapping on the grass would be nice to give it some depth... and soft shadows? i understand why they decided not to use them in oblivion but in a tennis game where there are very few objects on screen anyway? but i guess the latter things might actually be things that will hopefully be built in until the final release.
