While we are currently working hard on the translation of our full review of F1 2010, we would not want you to feel left apart because we have not given you any Codemasters goodies today. However, since we could not find any new images of DiRT 3 to complete the game's gallery, we decided to advise you to go check this impressive video. If you remember yesterday's image, I think it is safe to say this video is a good way to see one of the game's new disciplines in real live action. Impressive driving to say the least.

Turns out it actually was a real photo and some websites just got carried away. I still think the video was worth watching so I did not delete the news. I know it's not really video games per se, but it is after all a discipline we can expect in DiRT 3. Sorry about that guys.

The video is GREAT, however the game has nothing in common with it. Just a bland arcade racer, far from the coolness of the vid. Will have good gfx and that's kinda it...

the game features a playground stage where you can drift and mess around, which is similar to the video... codemasters probably got the idea from watching ken block doing this for years now anyway. so yeah, the vid has much to do with the actual game.

LOVED Dirt 2, so much better than it's given credit for, just DRIVING is fun in the game. There's not many games where it's as easy to get into a high speed unrecoverable slide, most games you just pop on some oppo-lock and away you go.

That first right in the trailblazer section of the Demo demonstrated this perfectly.

Can't wait. And the Gymkhana section will be good fun to throw the car around

rob230, I completely agree with you. I dont know what most people are on about calling it an arcade racer. It sure is by no means a simulation or a perfect representation of how a real rally car handles, but it's the only game that's got something for both, a serious hardcore sim racer and an occasional arcade racer.
Although one thing about Dirt series that really bothers me is, the fact that it's NOT a rally game. It's a good extreme sport game with rallycross and trail-blazers thrown in, but i would like to see Rally stages. Not just one stage that is 3 or 4 min long.. Longer Stages and More stages per day.. THAT would make this the definitive rally game.
By the looks of it though, GT5 will remain the 'main' game for me where I'd be able to enjoy "RANDOMLY GENERATED RALLYSTAGES" everytime, on and offline.. That seems interesting :) ..
