i like the colors, they look like action figure toys.

Thanks a lot for these in high quality, I was looking all over for them, but didn't find the official site other than the r3dakt3d site, but they hadn't uploaded it yet. Anyway, this is much better.

My initial reactions aren't very good, because the CG felt low budget, the Robin costume in the CG for example was really ugly, the faces felt somehow weird, it's not a high quality/budget CG like those from Final Fantasy, so that set the tone.

But to the actual gameplay, ever since the beginning with Batgirl riding the motorcycle, the animations felt stiff a lot of the times. Those riding animations need a whole lot of improvement.

Not gonna write an essay on the gameplay, but it let me disappointed in many ways. Feels like a retrogression on the Batman Arkham games, which I understand is it's own thing and I really, really liked they were making their own thing, I kept thinking that all the while watching the gameplay, but it needs so much polish.

Fair to them, they said it was captured from an older build and pre-Alpha, which if it comes out in later 2021, there's plenty of time to polish it into a great game. However, if that leak/rumor of a February 2021 is true, that would give me concerns, because it would be very hard to polish this till then during this pandemic.

I really like that Batman isn't the focus for once and that the other get a chance to shine. I just hope the game gets polished enough to today's standards. If that Black Myth: Wu Kong showing was that fluid and great, this really shouldn't be any less.

That was a tech demo, true, but was done by like 13-40 people in 2 years who never did a AAA game before, as the Chinese gaming development is mostly focused on mobile and MMOs. WB Montreal has far more people, veterans in AAA gaming development and had far more years since their last games.

Anyway, I want this game to be freaking awesome, so hopefully the final version is that awesome.

I had the same thoughts as well, very colorful to the point where some scenes felt very cartoonish. I kept reminding myself that I should get used to it, so I'm starting to get used to it.

AAA! I've already played this game before. It was called Batman Arkham City.

It doesn't seem bad, but it does feel generic. This kind of gameplay was considered cutting-edge in the PS3/X360 era. Every AAA superhero sandbox games now copies and pastes the exact same combat. As I watched Batgirl do side-somersault dodges, I kept thinking to myself... where have I seen this before apart from Arkham games? Of course, Spider-Man on PS4!

I don't understand why every game needs to be Destiny or some other RPG type game. Level indicators, Health bars, damage numbers; like WHY??? What was wrong with these games being typical action games?? The Arkham Series and Spider-Man showed that not everything needs to be an RPG. This is now just a DC version of Destiny/The Division/Avengers and that's honestly kinda lame. Also, I understand this is pre alpha with a far off release date, but man that performance looks ROUGH. But being that they're just getting in line and following every other game I dunno how excited I am for this one. Which sucks. The idea of an Arkham type game with this crew with like GTAV style on the fly character switching or co-op sounds awesome. But not with all the unnecessary RPG crap layered on top. 

After so many years of wait they give people a online coop mobile game without batman 😂😂 and guess what next rocksteady will give another online coop game that you can kill superman with harley Quinn ! Nope usually I dont bring trashes in my home 

I don't mind Batman not being a main playable character. Honestly, after 3 Batman games, I'd love for them to give us something with some of these other characters. And, uh, obviously the Suicide Squad game will be a game where you're fighting against the good guys lol.

I lot of people also mention Destiny/Anthem/The Division/Avengers because of the damage numbers, co-op and what they believe is an indication of looter shooter mechanics.


Honestly, I just hope the game is great and fun to play, that's the most important thing in any game. Batman: Arkham Origins gives some hope the developers will be able to make a very good game.

A Superman mind controlled by Brainiac hardly can be called the good Guy...

Yea... this doesn't look very good.I imagine its just because those games are popular and publishers want to appeal to that audience.
