Gameplay looks fun, but the visuals are so awful, I mean I know it's an indie, but still it looks like a game from 90's. Will still play it thou.

The visuals look awful because of the video's quality. And I don't mean on Gamersyde's end, most likely the developer send Gamersyde a video without good quality.

This 57 minutes video on Youtube has a better sense of the final visual quality of the game.

Either way, gameplay looks very good and it's a pity not many games in this genre are made anymore, plus it punishes people who don't strategise correctly, so it will be great for the hardcore audience.

Indeed it is. I had to stop playing it to keep from spoiling it, though.

graphics is close to fallout style, id someone hasn't played all fallouts he can complain. For me graphics looks very good, lots of details, yeah maybe a bit cartoon but as a package all elements fits very well. I had lots of fun playing it, it's also not indie, Brain Fargo is respected developer with 30 years of experience. Kickstarter money is only half the budget, rest was their own money and from sales from steam.
I can't wait till 19.09 to continue second half of the game, my rangers are ready for scorpitron :)

It is not video quality, the characters them selves are made with a really low poly count and most textures are very low resolution. It looks very dated and like it was made to run on an average tablet.

Fallout 2 is my favorite RPG of all time and it looks better then this imho. They should have made a nice 2D game not try with this crappy 3D but it's cheaper I guess.

Still like I said the gameplay looks great so after few hours into the game I will forget about the visuals for sure :)

Some of the parts they show, they zoom in on the video (not zoom in on the game), so it gets pixelated at a few parts when demonstrating something, but other than that, for a RTS/RPG style camera angle, the graphics arent bad. Either way as far as the gameplay goes, they have some pretty solid ideas going on.

I like how weapons you pick up that are useless can be broken down, and used as parts for upgrading other items/weapons. That is a very clever way to utilize useless weapons that arent as good as yours. This is something many RPG's and other games could learn from.

I just went to the video, and saw another video on the side, ''how to be an asshole in Wasteland 2''

The guy literally said we have this whole story set up, explains all that, then explains the mission variety, and the possibilities that stem from your actions, and how it affects your story.

Then he says, or if your one of those people that like to kill everyone you encounter, you can do that too. Instead of becoming a ranger, and following the story for the game, you can just kill everyone, take over the ranger headquarters citadel, and then the credits will roll.

So holy shit, you literally can do anything you want to really. Im impressed by that alone, might have to give this a shot even though these types of games arent my cup of tea.

[EDIT]: Heres the link about what i just described, much better video IMO than the 55 minute playthrough, or any other video ive seen thus far:

Awesome stuff reminds me why I love Fallout 2 it was freedom like this, you could do whatever you wanted killed every NPC and you would get notoriety for it in other villages etc... Great fun :D
