Assassin's Creed Mirage will be out tomorrow and it is exactly what has been advertised. The focus in this new episode is on investigation and stealth, which takes us back to the first games in the series. It's a nice return to form to say the least, though if you suffered from Assassin's Creed fatigue before Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla came out, there's a good chance it won't be a game for you. We've truly enjoyed our time on this much shorter adventure, but it's a bit of shame that not only did they not improve on the combat mechanics, but they've actually made it worse. It's clearly meant to incite players to keep a low profile and use all the gadgets, but we really hope Ubisoft will manage to finally propose a decent combat system in the next big game in the franchise.
