I'm not saying the look like shit, they actually look great.... But after seeing the NBA2K6 trailer, I hang my head in sorrow while thinking how sweet NFL2K6 could have been.....
Well ok i'll say it, they look like hi-poly madden 05 players. Higher res texturing cant make me blind to the fact that Mike Vick has a linebacker body, or the arms still have an unnatural amount of between them. They look like they always look, only with better face maps. Sorry but they are still crap.
Hmm not sure, guess I need to see more. EA releases entirely too many target visions..I can see why they do it--to get their stuff out their first and have it lookin golden--but this can all come 'round and bite them in the ass too.

The best visuals in the world cant make up for Madden 06's #1 bad idea. Oh no wait thats not right... they were being "innovative"... gogo QB vision. Now if theyd just release a roster update for Madden '05, wed have a football game to play.
ok once again i used to bash madden and ea but im gonna be real honest...i kinda like the pics the models arent bad theyre better....and man that hi res mappin sure looks good i mean they got the faces down to a t with animations and all plus those arenas are stunning. This will be my first madden game ever

only one screenshot looks good to me, the closeup, and even that, although very detailed look a little like an ilustration. Not impressed... especially after the 2K6 trailer and screens.
2K6 would have murder madden. Everyone just think EA new that it was about to be a next generation of consoles. 2K has always looked better than live has. MAN i just hate them for making my choice of which football game i want. Hell i would have gotten both games, I think everyone who wants the best of both worlds does.

2K has great gameplay. Anyway, these are not bad. But the realism still isn't there. I don't look at these and think, hmm.. this looks closer to real life than ever before. I mean, football isn't that colorful for one thing. I do love the textures though. Very nice textures and a very clean look. They need to work on their modeling though, and ANIMATION!
It's at least looking like a next generation game now. But I still can't get past the fact that the grass is still a flat texture. In all honesty I would rather have grass and half the crowd.
Ok I just saw the FIFA images. Why the hell doesn't Madden have grass.
