While there is still no sign of the third installment here in Europe, Sega jas released a bunch of new images of Yakuza 4 showing the day and night cycle as well as the weather change in the game.
these screens show quite high levels of detail. looks very promising. it would be awesome if they did a global release, it would also obviously help the game to sell a hell of a lot more copies.
wow, talk about a slap in the face. we havnt even gotten yakuza 3 yeat and the're showing us yakuza 4...i'm amazing at how fast these games are created.
Those screens have me totally scratching my head. I mean, at once they are some of the most magnificent city scenes on the PS3/360 generation, and yet there's something strange about them—the filter, the contrast, something. If anyone could help that'd be great: it's driving me nuts.
Oh, yeah, and the III/IV thing is stupid...I thought we were done with that with FFV (*sigh*, great Japanese games that get dropped for 'Western' releases).

I'm amazed that Sega just gave up on the west. You can't just give up that easily, especially when your attempts were that pathetic. I'm still hoping for a US release of Yakuza 3 and 4. More than likely, I'll be buying a PS3 at the end of this year, and I do so in great hopes of this being released here in the US. A big problem now is that by the time they release these games (if they do), they'll be so outdated that they'd really have to do some great marketing on them, or they'll flop once again.
They should also make this multiplatform, I'm sure it would sell a lot more that way. Probably more units on the 360.
