Announced during the X019 in London, th Ruy Ga Gotoku series will hit a Microsoft console for the first time ever in early 2020 when Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 launch on Xbox One and Windows 10 through the Xbox Game Pass.
Great news!!! The more people get to play Yakuza games, the better. Hopefully this is a trend and more games start going multi-platform and multi-consoles. Exclusivity can go to hell, greats games deserve to be played by as many people as possible.
Xbox Game Pass is great as well, since it will allow a lot of people to try these games for the first time. Which I'm sure will make even more Yakuza fans. Great for Sega, Microsoft, Yakuza franchise and, ultimately, the customers.
this came out of nowhere....
just reminding xbox gamers, this was among the longest running third party exclusive series to date. since the PS2 era. the spiritual successor to shenmue many would say.
i haven't jumped in the PC ports yet but there is definitely positive reception from the series.

Since you've yet to play them, you might want to hold off until they get released on Game Pass. Then you can play them either on XB1 or PC (Windows Store) to see if you like them. Though if you do like them, please consider buying as they're worth it and will help Sega bring more games to these platforms.
Great series! Just be sure not to play them all back to back, or you might get burned out. A nice series to intersperse with other games and enjoy the story, wackiness and enjoyable but liable to get a bit repetitive (if playing games back to back) combat.

And if you know your history, that spilled over into America too. "Hill Billies" didn't get that name by accident. There's a very specific reasoning for it. (11 Hours ago)

@jmd749: Yeah. Happened in my country too. Only they used religion and fealty to the monarchy of England as the divider instead of skin colour. Property ownership and jobs were the bribe. (11 Hours ago)

is not unique to Trump, neither is it new. It's been happening from the days of Jim crow where poor whites were given the illusion of inclusion. The age old divide and conquer play book. (18 Hours ago)

Yes, agreed. Had they been anything but white nationals they'd have been slaughtered. Chappelle said it best [url] This manipulation of poor white US nationals... (19 Hours ago)

If you storm a building like that and call it a revolution, you better be prepared to die. They clearly weren't or hadn't any clue of what a revolution entails. (1 Day ago)

@gigantor21: I found her to be a bit endearing in how naive she was. The police and guards in that building had the power to literally open up and slaughter the lot of them. (1 Day ago)

@MrWhite: That one lady whining about getting maced even though "it's a revolution" was the patron saint of the insurrectionists: entitled, weak and stupid. (1 Day ago)
