Turok

Propaganda Games and Disney Interactive Studios are tomorrow launching Turok for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in Europe. Some of you might still remember the glory days of the Nintendo 64-era and the classic Turok, running around blasting a gigantic T-Rex with bow and fire - and the next generation game is not so different afterall. I have been playing the game and inside you will find my impressions and a big bunch of gameplay videos from the it.

Not one week without a new Turok Making-Of. This one is about the environments and the various characters of the game.

A few days away from the american release of Turok on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, planned for February 8 2008 (Europe), we have these new gameplay images to share with you. Please note that the PC build will be available only later in the spring of 2008. After the ugly screens from a few days ago, the quality still isn't there in my opinion, and it's a deception. Am I too greedy?

It's becoming a habit now, here comes the third Making-of of Turok. Still very well done, and this time about the dinos and the AI.

Turok already gets a second Making Of video, very well done and quite interesting like the first one. Also worth mentioning, a demo of the game is online on the Xbox Live Marketplace since a few days now.

Buena Vista Interactive just sent us this gameplay video of Turok, as always quite bloody, and I also found this first making-of video of the game for the more curious people out there, it will be online in a few minutes.

Touchstone and Propaganda Games free some new images of Turok from its PC build. Well I don't know what to say honestly, between these images and what I saw from the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, the gap seems pretty wide. Bad choice of images let's hope, or the game will be extinct on this format.

More than a month and half after our last Diaries devoted to The Simpsons, and after the release of numerous highly anticipated games as well as christmas blockbusters, publishers finally start to show-off their games again. It begins with the new Turok game by Propaganda, as usual presented with our impressions, lots of gameplay and real pieces of interview. Caution: this game might be a little bit gore...

Who would have thought at the beginning of this generation of consoles that Turok would be a game to be hyped about? Not a lot of people I bet, but this video certainly does indicate that some good could actually come from the Turok license again!

Folks at Touchstone have this new video of Turok for us today, showing how to lure dinosaurs for the ultimate kill. Protip : they don't like their eggs to be broken and are attracted by flares.
