Images of Half-Life Episode 2

Valve releases a dozen of Episode 2 images, taken from the PC version. Keep in mind that Episode 2 will be featured in the Orange Box, as well as Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Team Fortress 2 and Portal.

Images of Half-life 2: Orange pack

Valve has launched the official website for Half-life 2: Orange Pack, which I hope we'll see a lot of at E3. It seems to be on track for the October release, and inside you'll find a lot of (low-res) images, both new and old ones in a big mess.

Images of Half Life 2 Orange Pack

Electronic Arts and Valve released these not really new images of Half Life 2: Orange Pack. With Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2, this should certainly keep most of us occupied!

X06: Images of Halflife Episode Two

Valve released these images together with all the other ones from X06 yesterday, but they captured these images from the exact same places as their old images - so it completely fooled us into thinking that they were old. Here they are anyway, a day late, but they actually seem to be the first images from the console versions (not confirmed yet).

Half Life 2 episode 2 trailer

Valve released the 720p and direct feed version of the Half Life 2 Episode 2 shown during the Game Convention last week. It looks just a tad better than our screener version ;)

Besides Portal and Team Fortress 2, Valve was also showing some nifty footage of Half Life 2: Episode 2 during the Game Convention, and as expected Snoopers was there to record all of it. Enjoy this 12 minutes video!

Valve just released an extended version of the Episode 2 trailer released some week ago, showing some new awesome gameplay sequences from the game. Really impressive, and an environment change was welcome.

Valve announces Team Fortress 2

Valve just announced that PS3 and 360 ports of Half-Life 2 are to be released next-year, in a big pack containing the game as well as the two "Episodes", Portal (a solo game featuring experimental gameplay) and... Team Fortress 2. Yep, THE Team Fortress 2. With its shaders-filled cartoony look, the game seems pretty far from what it used to be when it was still using the Quake Engine... And I must say I'm totally seduced. Are you ?

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 6 to 8 split on Eurogamer, which isn't quite as large but still pretty significant. (36 minutes ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (39 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (41 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @SimonM7: I doubt that's true too, if other reviews I've read are any indication. The game was designed around an interface that's not represented on the Xbox.. (42 minutes ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 I doubt PC and 360 scores would differ much in EDGE, they simply don't fancy it. DA on the 360 is fine as long as you like the underlying game. (51 minutes ago)
  • callmekymbo
callmekymbo is DA on the 360 really that bad? I can't run it on my pc so the eggbox is my only viable alternative (1 Hour ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Wow, deja vu. (1 Hour ago)
