SKATE

The Tony Hawk games series started more than 8 years ago, and during all that time there has never been any more serious threat to Neversoft than SKATE. After years of over the top skating, EA's game is a real novelty with a much more simulation-ish gameplay. It takes quite some time to get used to the controls, but nailing a trick is so much more rewarding. Much recommended!

Already available in North America for about a week, here's the introduction video of SKATE, which is both funny and cool. As an added bonus, this has been made with real actors and I can't imagine all the trouble they went through just to give us these few seconds of entertainment. Enjoy.

EA continues to make the SKATE videos flow, and we won't complain about it ! Here comes a sweet little montage of the game's funnier bails accompanied by an excellent garage punk-rock tune. We want more !

I'm still fighting the WIFI network here so it keeps me connected long enough to upload something... anything... But still, here is a video of the other EA game I really enjoyed: SKATE.

EA releases a new trailer of SKATE. This time, it's focused on the progression from the anonymous SKATEr to the worldwide superstar, and all the game modes that you get to unlock as you become more and more famous.

SKATE, now officially announced for September, is back already with these images and videos of the EXPN (X-Games) mode of the game. This could be really fun.

EA releases a nice featurette of SKATE, showcasing the basics of the experience offered by the game, from the character creation to the virtual fame. It gives a good taste of what the game will propose, and it looks quite cool !

Next out is EA Games SKATE, their SKATEboard simulator.

EA releases a bunch of images and two artworks of SKATE. A lot of already-seen screens and some new stuff, but I don't feel like verifying so here's the full pack. Yep, it's one of those days...
