The First 10 Minutes: Naruto 360

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja will be released today in the US, and on Friday in Europe, and this time we managed to get some videos out before the actual release. Let's hope this will be more often the case! Anyway, for a half linear and half sandbox game like Naruto nothing less than 5 videos will be necessary to show how everything works, but I'm sure the numerous fans of the series won't mind!
Update: All five videos are now online.

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja Q&A session

We asked on the forum for questions to upcoming interviews done by the XCN, and first out is Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. Most of the questions actually got picked for the interview done by them, so inside you'll find Sebastien Puel's thoughts about characters, DLC, not doing CO-OP, upcoming Naruto games and much more.

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja videos

Here are three homemade videos of Naruto: Rise of a Ninja since we just received the game (well, a really early version though). We can discover the beginning of Ubi Soft's new game where Naruto achieves his first mission and his first fight. The second video will show a bunch of other missions (like an express ramen delivery) while the last video will show the rooftops of the city for some platforming. So keep in mind this version is far from complete and contains a lot of sound and layout bugs.

MGS07: Two Naruto videos

During our day at the Micromania Games Show in Paris, we had the opportunity to watch a long demonstration about the solo adventure in Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, and we could also play the two-players mode, which is nice although a bit short on moves. The fighting video showcases different environments and characters. Concerning the story video, as the quests demoed weren't really interesting, I've decided to only keep the free running in the Konoha village, as well as the learning of a new power by Naruto.

GC07: Naruto Rise of a Ninja

Naruto Rise of a Ninja will be one of the last few titles to get some images from the GC Press Kit, and it still doesn't look bad at all.

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 6 to 8 split on Eurogamer, which isn't quite as large but still pretty significant. (1 Hour ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @SimonM7: I doubt that's true too, if other reviews I've read are any indication. The game was designed around an interface that's not represented on the Xbox.. (1 Hour ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 I doubt PC and 360 scores would differ much in EDGE, they simply don't fancy it. DA on the 360 is fine as long as you like the underlying game. (1 Hour ago)
  • callmekymbo
callmekymbo is DA on the 360 really that bad? I can't run it on my pc so the eggbox is my only viable alternative (1 Hour ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Wow, deja vu. (2 Hours ago)
