After our campaign videos of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, here are some videos of the multiplayer, which runs at 60 FPS.
Note: a mouse cursor is visible in the videos due to a capture issue, but this is footage from the Xbox One version.
Very nice Ultimate Edition,but when the transition from MP to campaign is crazy, in terms of fps that is. I do wonder why they couldn't get the campaign at 60fps.

Campaign is 30 FPS because they remade all the game assets to make it more "new gen", instead of just upgrading the resolution (like they did mostly for multiplayer).
Also, it still uses Unreal Engine 3 because if they wanted to use UE4 they would had to rewrite all scripts as they are totally different in UE4 (including AI). So to keep the gameplay as close as the original, they stuck with UE3, but Gears 4 will run on UE4.
Omg. Been frequenting this site for nearly 10 years and have only just seen that tiny little "Filter" option on the front page.
I.. I think it needs to be bigger or more obvious somehow.

Use the filter option on the homepage and only select GSY Live, you'll find them. ;)
Then don't forget to reset everything or else your homepage will only show GSY Live news.
Suggestion please: I really liked that part 3 had a video with it. It was helpful when I wanted to skip to the games I am actually interested in so dont have to listen to the whole lot.

The podcasts that are audio only were recorded in Cologne, we couldn't add video feed from there.

I only want Gears 4 to have a 60fps campaign if it doesn't sacrifice visuals too much. I want to be blown away by visuals when a new Gears game comes out and 30fps is alright with me then. The E3 footage sure wasn't 60fps.
