Plus the install base will be much higher then. If the game is anything as good as the first, it'll sell a ton more.
Since 6732 DaysHalo sold more than 6 million and Halo 2 more than 7 milion (it's close to 8 million I think) so gears has still quite a way to go but very good news nonethless givent that the game cost them only 10 million dollars to make, they sure are making way more profits Id say.

Since 6358 DaysI would like to bring up theres longer shooters but often not for the right reasons, repetition and boredom are a poor excuse for having a longer game... I guess im biased cos i really loved the game, and with the co-op you can easilly play the game 2-3 more times with your frineds, its a great experience.
