Since 6822 DaysIt's doubtful that PDZ will have any sort of impact on the industry as a whole the way Halo did (and Goldeneye/Perfect Dark before it, incidentally) but I do believe PDZ will be very popular on the 360 provided it's any good. In that sense I think PDZ can capture possibly a just as big audience as Halo did, and I think it'll probably prove more surprising and enjoyable than another rehash of Halo 1 (which Halo 2 ultimately was, gameplay wise).
