By J.Allard talks about this game , he thinks this game is as big as halo was back then in 2001, i dont think it will live up to halo, anyone else opinions?

Depends on what you.. um.. mean by that.

It's doubtful that PDZ will have any sort of impact on the industry as a whole the way Halo did (and Goldeneye/Perfect Dark before it, incidentally) but I do believe PDZ will be very popular on the 360 provided it's any good. In that sense I think PDZ can capture possibly a just as big audience as Halo did, and I think it'll probably prove more surprising and enjoyable than another rehash of Halo 1 (which Halo 2 ultimately was, gameplay wise).

I doubt PDZ will ever live up to Halo....because well, Halo is still going strong on the current-gen, and Halo 3 is coming out on the 360 as well...and by judging from the video, PDZ looks rather dull and uninteresting, pretty much like Timesplitters but on a new platform. Not very impressive at all, more like just another average shooter. I think J. Allard exagerates just a little...

NO way in hell it's going to Live up to or even come CLOSE to Halo. Not even Halo 2 came close... Man the good days are gone. Now we've got M$ and Bungie wanting our $ not our honor.

after seeing gameplay movie..well i think this game is better than halo, watch some halo or any other footage from fps games and compare them, pdz rapes them

http://www.1up.com has a new video up including the intro to the level, makes it all flow better and shows off some nice effects. It's definitely a pretty game.

I wish they wouldn't fuck up their videos like that though, I dunno what they do to them in that place. All grainy and high contrast and pixelated. Anyway, worth checking out.

Gamespot has put up possibly the best and most varied PDZ videos yet, complete with awesome cutscenes. Go there immediately if you're even remotely interested in this game. No membership required, although I think you may be entitled to bigger versions if you are a member.

yeah, 1up really screws up their videos.
Their version of the trailer is all messy, while you can go to IGN and get a crystal clear version of it (or is it TeamXbox? Can't remember now)

PDZ doens't survive at all when you compare the graphics of it to PGR3.
But from what I see in the vid's... PDZ has got loads and loads of gameplay.

Yeah, doesn't compete with Gamespot's suckyness though. Seriously, either he's holding the camera while he's playing (unlikely) or he sucks at even handling two analogue sticks at the same time. In the third video he keeps aiming at the roof, strafing around aimlessly several times.

Watch the new presentation video, the lighting and effects put this WAY out of the league of any FPS yet released. I know some people aren't too keen on the comicbook style of the characters, but that is an artistic choice not a technical one.
