Alan Wake Thread - Brand New Trailer!!

I used to have an awesome game room with a 52" HDTV a Sony 5.1 home theater but now I only play in my 42" Plasma with no home theater because of my daughter(she is 1 year old) so I sold it.

I really want a pair of headsets speakers or something like that,is there with 5.1 or surround sound out there?

I will get look for something like that.

Get yourself some nice Sennheiser stereo speakers. You won't regret it. If you need surround sound badly an encoder with Dolby Headphone will do the trick. The 5.1/7.1 stuff is usually of lower quality.

Yes. Sennheiser headphones FTW. Don't get that 5.1 crap! A Dolby Headphone mixamp will do the trick.

No matter what model right because they are from $450 to $30 and Im not that loaded with money :(

I use to buy only Sennheiser headsets, the very cream of the crop in their product lines, too, but they break way too damn easy, so I've stopped buying them.

Good lord at that youtube vid posted by Redx!!

I know a lot of that extra contrast and quality is due to the offscreen, but that's how games look on my HDTV baby :D

You know, for the complaints I've had about animation in this game, the enemies surely don't seem to have this issue. They animate very impressively as they move through the environments and do things like hopping down from a roof, or how they react when you shine a light in their face.

In the last youtube vid posted, just look at the awesome animation present all the way through, especially when that taken jumps across. Depending on how the player controls Alan, though, things can indeed look rather weird.

Downloaded the video off youtube, 720p mp4, looks so damn good. Even the fog effects are casting shadows onto the environment :D

He said its a Little later i the game, also i thinks thats the same level from Asia, so it looks like they are doing the rounds showing off a new part of the game.

I'm excited for RDR, too, but I'm definitely going Alan Wake first. The RDR studio isn't the one in danger of going out of business if this game isn't successful. Remedy, as usual, are betting the farm on this game being a hit.

It looks like I am the first person in the world to beat the retail build of Alan Wake. Woo Woo! On normal 12 - 18 hours long.
