Yeah, I think it's safe to say that BF3 will be one of the best looking console games, if not the best. That surely won't be the reason why I'll envy our PC masters. It's the player count that bothers me. I'll be happy with 32 players as that was the most enjoyable player count on BF2.

Controls and community do it for me. I would say customization and modability, but DICE are abandoning that model on PC too. It looks amazing. I hope my new PC kicks its ass.

Powerfull PCs are out of control now, seing some The Witcher 2 images its just too advanced now, I wich next gen will be like that.

Showing on PC is not going to help them against MW3. But at E3 they will show the console version I am sure. Both shooter are heavy story based games. Online is the key though for sucess. Still million play MW2 on consoles

I seriously doubt it actually matters which version of the game they show. The masses don't know or care about details. I hate this discussion though. MW3 will absolutely sell better. There, we wrapped that right up!

What did people think of the updated Karkand video shots then? Need to see it in the flesh before i can make my mind up fully but from what i seen it looked ok.

They really didn't show enough in that last video. All a bunch of tease clips/shots with hardly anything new at all. To be expected I guess

Game looks great, Karkand is hard to recognize.

Very hard which threw me off in how i wanted to like it. Saving grace is that it's going to be laid out the same, well hopefully.

I'm not really sure it is. Seems to me that I'm seeing plenty of new buildings in those screens, and at least one new set of stairs (next to the fountain). The Oman artwork threw me a serious curve ball too. I sorta expect them to be familiar but less familiar than I had expected. It will be hard to screw up Wake :)

Yea I don't know why it would be an issue. They've done that before. I just hope this game has a reasonable ceiling. Flying in Bad Company 2 is really gimped by how relatively low the maximum height is. In BF2 there aren't any jets in 16 player maps.. so I'm almost certain there be ways of playing games without them. Hell, I expect infantry only, and some of the modes from Bad Company 2 to return. We're almost certainly going to get rush, and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some expansion of the squad deathmatch gametype as well.

I have a feeling the multiplayer demo today will be mediocre...all of the demos shown at e3 usually are but I expect the final game to live up to the expectations set by the original demo
