Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

We’ve rolled out a new PC game update and will continue to make improvements based on your feedback. The update includes fixes with the aim to increase the general stability of the game, and eliminates bugs that you may have experienced. It also includes an improvement to the “Netcode”.
UPDATE: We have noticed that players who have SLI enabled on their graphics card may experience graphical flickering. Also, we're looking into the issue where the revive bar would get stuck on-screen in some instances. Both of these have our attention, and we're investigating them.
Dec 16 PC Game Update Notes
-Fix for a crash that would cause the game to stall, resulting in a sound loop. This should eliminate most of the problems relating to this.
-Fix for the SUAV (introduced in the China Rising expansion pack) not exploding when hitting enemy soldiers. While these indeed should be deadly, they were never designed for “roadkilling” opponents.
-Fixed one of the issues related to the so-called “Netcode” (see below for details).
-Fix for an issue where 4x the damage from a vehicle's minigun would be applied to the chest when a player had the Defense specialization equipped.
-Fix for player tags not always showing when needed to, resulting in players shooting team members.
-Fix for graphical flickering appearing on terrain.
-Fixed the instance where players suddenly would transition into Spectator Mode while playing the Defuse game mode.
-Fix for a Defuse bug where none of the teams would win a round by letting the timer run out.
-Fix for players getting stuck in the revive screen after being killed.
-Fix for players getting stuck in the kill camera after being revived.
-Fix for the game mode specific ribbons being counted twice in the multiplayer progression.
-Made NVidia 331.82 or later driver versions mandatory for all players.
-Disabled DirectX 11.1 on NVidia cards that have outdated drivers.
-Fixed driver version not being properly detected on NVidia Optimus systems.
-Fixed a minor crash that could occur when bringing up the scoreboard.
“Netcode” improvement
We’ve addressed the so-called “Kill trading”. This refers to when two players fire at each other and, seemingly, both die at the same time. The time window where a bullet could cause damage from an already dead player is now calculated as intended, decreasing the timeframe when players with high latency could get a kill, even though they should be dead according to the server.

It sounds like they introduced some issues for SLI users too. I will likely check it out a little later!

Heard about the SLI-problems as well.

Which I half understand. I hear plenty of people complain about "registration" when I'm pretty sure they're on about the netcode :P

I just can't believe they released a patch that completely breaks SLI. Nvidia SLI is a pretty common solution among the types of gamers that play Battlefield. Come on!
I'm not playing until they fix it again.

Doing a clean driver install. Reinstalling the DX and VC++ redistributables (location: "_Installer" subfolder, run the .exe's for DX/VC). And uh.. running repair tool in origin.
These may or may not help. Heck, they probably won't... but they're simple solutions that have resolved issues for others in the past.
Edit: Oh, and try the 32bit executable and disable the overlay too (right click on BF4 in Origin, go to properties)...
Note: probably placebo solutions.. but eh, maybe not?
So, China Rising. My first impression is of a heavy armor focus, but I'm mostly pleased. I had heard comparisons to Armored Kill tossed around, but I find these maps to be much more interesting already. Vehicle focus, yes.. but there's some sense to the flag structure and a lot of action. That's a big change from the mostly dull hour long rounds of AK, where only pilots had any fun. Not bad.
They need optimization though. I'm getting major performance drops in certain areas/around certain flags.
This video is really good, even if you don't want to use the AEK. Even if you're familiar with BF3. Xfactor covers a lot of the more subtle changes in the gunplay, which could help your game.
A couple of personal notes about attachments: I disagree with the suppressor suggestion for the most part. It will increase your TTK at long range. I don't know why xfactor doesn't use the flash suppressor. He suggested that it has penalties, but I don't see them on Symthic.com or in the game. Symthic is a great resource if you're interested in the nuances of each weapon and how the attachments work. Use the angled/folding (same) grip if you want to counter the first shot recoil multiplier without penalties. Use the regular/ergo grip if you can't stop yourself from strafing while you fire your weapon. Generally speaking, you should be stopping and shooting anyway. The ergo is maybe more suitable for closer range weapons and low ROF/recoil weapons. Lower your mouse sensitivity and make fewer adjustments with your feet and more with your mouse when possible.
LevelCap thinks you should use the compensator or muzzle break in combination with the stubby/potato grip. I am more with Xfactor on this one. Stay away from pointless penalties. Learn to counter recoil.
Some of his old BF3 stuff is still relevant if you're uncertain about settings and stuff:

The delay of future monetized content is what made their stock sink and investors sue. Which is really a little ironic, since it's a PR nightmare and it will only damage their ability to monetize future content.
Also: not actually "broken," but yes, a little bit of a mess.

This seem more like they're stating the obvious than presenting damning evidence to me.
It's not uncommon for executives to sell stock in the company when it peaks, and we all expected a smoother launch.

Prepare To Drop!!
So many games were rushed this holiday season, and pretty clearly. Each and every one of them is guilty of "lying to inflate their stock prices." In fact, companies do it all of the time. It's called advertising.
I'm not really happy with the rough launch, but their investors are even bigger assholes. These are the people that these deadlines were meant to please in the first place. They're part of the reason that the game was fucking rushed!

You can always keep shifting the blame up the ladder. That's a really easy way to point the finger at basically nobody, and absolve everyone involved except the bankers.
