There is I think 5 slots you can save on.

Yes there is, but you need to know when a good arena location is and when, especially when you have a good upgraded War.

This game isn't getting enough credit from the reviewers. Maybe since it doesn't bring all that warm and fuzzy nostalgia of Ocarina of Time.

I'd say it's getting enough credit from them. I mean, it's sitting around 85% on gamerankings.com... nothing wrong with that.

Yeah I'd say an 85% pretty good for a new franchise. But personally I would say it deserves a far better score than that, however the god of war style combat did hold the game back a little. The puzzle dungeons however were fucking fantastic.

I'm still a little turned off by the art style, but it's far from a deal breaker. Overall I enjoyed the game far more than just about anything else in the action/adventure genre. I'd love to see more games like this hit the market.

I didn't really get a GoW vibe from the combat. Darksiders' combat just felt....too simple to me...moreso than GoW's.

Yeah def but I enjoyed it that way. I didn't want to have to memorize a fighting games worth of moves.

Odd, I've read a lot of reviews and opinions where people compare the combat to god of war more than any other game. I got the god of war vibe myself, but I also don't see it as trying to directly copy GoW's combat if that's what you mean.

And I agree, the combat is too simple. It also doesn't help that many of the moves you can unlock aren't really much more effective than the basic ones you start with...

But I don't see this game as being as much about combat as it is about exploration and puzzles. By far the better part of the game for me.

There is something about the combat in this game that makes it awesome,I cant quite put it in words yet but it feels very good.

Even if it is simple in dept.

"Rather than just making a standard 20-minute demo version of the first few levels, we decided to give away this massive level and reveal the true essence of the game," explained David Adams, general manager of THQ-owned developer Vigil Games, with the company noting "the demo will take approximately 90 minutes to complete."
Pretty cool. Will certainly be playing the demo.

I think it was bound to happen Korn knowing that you didn't like Zelda games either,This types of games its about the exploring and solving puzzles not so much about combat.

The more slow the game got the more I enjoyed it.

while i dont like zelda itself (more a style, refuses to evolve, same shit every time issue then anything), i was willing to give the gameplay a chance, but much like AC2, the game doesnt have much of a hook or initial draw, which is amplified by the fact it takes hours for it to kick in. i'd have been fine if it was 10-30 minutes before the game got good, but 1-2 hours. that's just stupid. it's like a good book, if you expect me to keep reading, you have to grab my attention on the first few pages. not by the 3rd chapter. i'm sure i WILL play more, but right now, i cant seem to find the energy.

Darksiders is on its way to a PC near you...in June," Haydn Dalton, lead designer on the action-adventure, revealed via Twitter. "Buckle up for the apocalypse biatches."
While Dalton's revelation was short on details, Vigil co-founder David Adams told Rock Paper Shotgun that "we are working really hard to make sure that key features such as user-defined resolutions, interface and both keyboard and game pad control sets are all up to the standards for today's discerning PC consumer."
Awesome news. Seeing how i enjoyed the demo, will be buying this when it releases on PC. It's very rare to see this type of games on PC :)

Sorry, but I want to play a version of the game that doesn't constantly dip below 30fps and have fucktons of screen tearing.

This is a game that I would love to see support GFWL though! I want achievements :P

I think you might get your precious achievements! I mean newer THQ games like Red Faction Guerrilla and Dow2+expansion both use GFWL. So I am pretty sure Darksider will use GFWL too.
